Just like the title says…
I remember a year ago…being at the beach…
I had three chemo treatments left and I was waiting to see if chemo did what it was suppose to do…many prayers were being prayed….many of you were praying for me.
I remember a few friends and I out on the beach taking pictures early one morning.
We were documenting part of my cancer journey.
I still call it a journey….there is lots happiness and praise that I am on the other side of the cancer journey…
The other side of the journey brings a different range of emotions and doctor appointments and a different perspective on life…
There is lots of laughter but still tears at times too.
These pictures make me smile.
Seeing what God has done in a year…
Last year I was thinking that by the time we would be at the beach this year my hair should be about 3 inches long…I had been told it would grow about 1/4 inch each month.
I have actually had my hair cut 6 times I believe it is since March!!! I have decided that for now I am going to leave my hair short and gray. No more color for me to cover that grey!!
This time last year I had no hair, three chemo treatments left…and surgeries still to go.
Wow, what a difference a year makes!
Thank you for walking this journey!
